The OC Kerrs have been busy this week. In between packing stints, we have been working and EVEN PREPARTYING my Joyus' 28th birthday (OK we just went out to one of our lil Italian places - Garduno's). So we be tired!

Anyway, we have to disconnect internet and HOPEFULLY get our keys to the new home tomorrow so hang in there - we will post again soon. In the mean time, you may want to send my wife a lil happy bday email or something.

She is very cool and I am stoked to have her in my life for part of her 28 years as of tomorrow! And she can make these really impressive birdy faces - just ask her some time. I love you Joyus!

[Above] Our final paint job - Joy and I LOVE it. We started off thinking it was going to be grey green, then it was white and then POW we find out its this grey/blue with red highlights - awesome.

Getting Wicked in LA

Before becoming homeowners and eating ramen for the rest of our adult lives, I decided to splurge on my wifey and take her to Wicked in LA with some friends. It happened to be on the same Friday Night in preparing for the Oscars so there was a ton of "pageantry"-to use a Meeshee Scherrei term-around the CPK we ate dinner at before we went to the Pantages Theater.

Now I am no "musical" fan but I will say this - I loved it. Outstanding. My favorites songs - I can't believe I just said that - were "Popular" and "Gravity" or whatever they are called. I just remembered the chorus.

As we walked into the lush and vibrant seating - in the middle about 40 rows from the front - I was so excited to take it all in and mark this momentous occasion... I pulled out my camera and then I got caught [watch the video].
